Electronic Arts showed the logo of the new football simulator

Electronic Arts has revealed the logo of the new football simulator EA Sports FC, which the company is releasing after the end of cooperation with FIFA.

Electronic Arts and the International Football Federation are ending their cooperation. The last game in the FIFA series from EA Sports was FIFA 23, which was released on September 30, 2022. From now on, there will be a new simulator – EA Sports FC.

The new brand draws its design inspiration directly from the game and the dominant shape in football culture. The EA Sports FC logo has a triangular shape, which is commonly used in the indicators above soccer players in the game.

In total, three versions of the logo were created: a basic, two-letter product prefix and a mark of authenticity to share with a wide range of EA SPORTS FC partners.

The triangle doesn’t just inform the new logo – the shape is deeply rooted in EA SPORTS FC’s visual DNA, and the triangular grid system is the foundation of the brand’s future design. This isometric grid is made up of many triangles, emphasizing the power of the new collective – because “none of us can change the game like all of us.”

The new brand principles include two custom, distinctive and versatile typefaces, each inspired by iconic gaming styles.

Fonts will include multilingual font settings specifically designed to display different language fonts from Latin to Arabic.

EA SPORTS FC and its new color palette features colors that are universal in football: two shades of green, as well as black and white.

The company will drop FIFA branding in the near future, which includes advertising inserts and graphics during broadcasts of the English Premier League, Women’s Super League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1.
