Registration for the ABD Design Awards 2023 is open, an award aimed at celebrating and recognizing interior design projects and professionals.

In all, there are five different categories: ‘Residential’, ‘Best use of color’, ‘Ephemeral design/Showcase’, ‘Heritage restoration’ and ‘Commercial’ – and there is the possibility for participants to submit the same project in more than one of them. There is no limit to the number of works submitted by each professional.

According to the organization of the ABD Design Awards, the competition’s differential is directly related to the choice of categories, as they highlight the importance and depth of Brazilian interior design, which already figures as a reference for many countries, opening up space for the recognition of professionals in the area, who are part of national and international offices.

The winner of each category will be awarded a sculpture signed by the artist Yutaka Toyota, valued at BRL 30,000, and with registration in the IFI Design Distinction Awards competition, promoted by IFI – International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers. The awards also include receiving the title of ABD Professional of the Year, exposure of the project during the International Congress of Interior Design (CONAD 2023), inclusion of the project in specialized media and exposure in the ‘Gallery of Winners’ on the website of ABD Design Awards, among other gratuities.

Entries for the ABD Design Awards can be made via the contest’s official page and projects submitted by May 17th.
