Makhno Studio from Ukraine created a collection of Bavovna lamps

The designers describe the lamps as a “creative explosion” of Sergey Makhn and the studio team and a symbol of indomitability.

The collection consists of four lamps: BA, VOV, NA and BOOM, writes Telegraph Design.

The series shows the process of flame formation inside a ceramic shell, which resembles a cotton box in shape. This symbolizes the internal and external strength of Ukrainians.

The lamps are made of ceramic, and the inside is decorated with gold and copper, which simulates an internal fire a second before the explosion. The collection has natural colors: from natural white, associated with smoke, to brown, the color of burning and destruction.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will be given to the Serhiy Prytula charity fund, namely to the “Cotton” project.
