  • Replace old tiles
  • Your kitchen tiles are a sight to behold, especially if they’re pearl white and are spotless. But how can you achieve this when the very area itself is prone to food stains?! You don’t have to pull your hair thinking about it. Even though tiles can wear out overtime, you can still clean the stains off using lemon and some vinegar.

If, on the other hand, your tiles are already prone to chipping, you might as well consider replacing them with new ones. This could be your opportunity to give your kitchen a fresh, new look. For this, you might want to consider laminate flooring or ceramic tiles. Both are easy to install and alsowater-resistant for better longevity.

  • Rehabilitate worn down cabinets
  • Hardwood is always great to install in bathrooms and kitchens, but the humid conditions in these areas aren’t really friendly towards this material. If you kitchen has wooden cabinets, expect these to deteriorate overtime. They can be infested by termites or simply rot due to poor maintenance. Either way, you will need to rehabilitate your cabinets so you can make your kitchen look more appealing and tidy.

You can simply rehabilitate broken cabinets and other fixtures by chipping away at termite damage and giving these a fresh coat of varnish. This will definitely make your cabinets look clean. On the other hand, if these cabinets are already in an advanced point of wear and tear, then you might as well consider getting new furniture for your kitchen,

  • Get new appliances
  • If you have old appliances you’re still using, you shouldn’t be surprised about paying for hefty electricity bills each month. For sure, appliance wear down as they age. As the years go by, they consume more power in order to operate.

This is all the more reason to replace your old appliances with new ones. Fixtures such as the refrigerator and microwave oven will have to go if they have been around for more than a decade already. However, instead of throwing these appliances away, you can opt to hand them over to a recycling center or dismantle them and keep the parts for later use. Who knows what future projects you can use these parts for.

Take these tips in mind and you will be able to cook meals just as top-brass as the place where you’re making them!
